Acumen CS Fest took place on 4th
January 2014 with 939 participations in
total. The various events like Online
Programming Contest, Online Treasure
Hunt, and Code hunt and Project expo
whichdrewlargeparticipation.
Blind Coding was a technical event to
writecodewiththeeyesblindfolded.This
was an event organized to showcase
bright talented programmers. Around 45
students participated in the daylong
event.
As a part of the CS‐Fest a Gaming
Workshop was organized on 31st
December2013inassociationwithseven
summits and Studio Torque and
workshop has witnessed around 165
studentsparticipated.
Therewereotherinformaleventsaswell
that took were planned as a part of
AcumenCSFest2014andareTech‐o‐take,
KeyBoardAssembly,CPUAssembly,Logo
design, Pick & Click 8‐Queens, Game 'O'
Mania,TempleRun.Theseeventsalsohad
good participation overall with a total of
around350registrations.Thewinnersof
all the events were given the
appreciation/participation
certificates
andacashaward.
The Acumen CSFest 2014 concluded the
daylong fest and was a Tech day to
cherish for all the students, organizers &
volunteers.
Paper presentation was a huge success
witharound240teamsparticipatinginit.
Online Programming Contest was
launched online for the initial round
where more than 200 registrations were
recorded. A total of about 88 teams
participated in this event for the second
roundandthiswasaoneofthehighlight
ofCSFest2014.
