Sparta was not at the battle
Persians send 18,000 Persians onto ships to attack Athens while army is at Marathon
Greeks defeat remaining Persians at Marathon. 160 dead Greeks compared to 6,000 dead
Persians.
Greeks immediately march 25 miles back to Athens and arrive before the Persian fleet.
Persian fleet turns around and heads back to Persia.
