Netiquette / Community Standards
Our netiquette is designed to create a safe, pleasant and peaceful environment for the exchange of
ideas, for networking and keeping in touch.
Please adhere to these community standards and respect the rights of other members to make sure
everyone gets the best out of participating in this group.
Let’s make it a good experience for all of us!

We do not tolerate offensive or explicitly unconstitutional content. This includes
o Threats, bullying, harassment and hate speech of any kind,
o Posts expressing attitudes / views which are xenophobic, misogynistic, or which
discriminate against other minorities, communities or individuals,
o Posts purveying an extremist political / religious stance,
o Approving, promoting, initiating or glorifying violence, war, discrimination or other
unconstitutional or anti-democratic acts,
o Graphic / pornographic content or other material with no other purpose than
scandalizing, shocking or evoking sadistic pleasure.

Keep it non-commercial!
Please do not post any advertisements / commercials or marketing content (Spam). Any
commercial content will be removed immediately.
We will not tolerate if the group network is used to send advertisements or any other
marketing content to other group members via private messages (spam).

Respect privacy and anonymity!
Please respect and help us secure the privacy and rights of other users. Do not disclose personal
/ private details on other persons, no matter if they are members of Facebook or not. This
includes the name, address and other personal data but also photos / videos (especially all data
capable of identifying the respective person).

Respect copyrights and intellectual property rights!
Do not post or share works of art or other material of which you do not hold the copyrights
yourself unless you got the permission by the author to do so. Exempt from this is material under
Creative Commons licenses.

Mind your language!
It is alright to be informal and use slang / colloquial speech, but we will not tolerate abusive /
insulting language, scolding, bashing or the like. Also, sexually explicit language is improper.

Stay friendly & tolerant!
Even if you feel offended, insulted or the like, please keep factual and fair. If you feel treated
improperly or offended by posts / comments, please turn to the hosts / moderators first.

Furthermore, the terms and conditions for using Facebook apply: [Facebook Terms and Policies].
Posts/Content which do not align with these principles will be removed immediately. The author will
be notified and admonished.
Users who repeatedly disregard our group principles despite admonition will be irrevocably expelled
from the group and banned from our page. Depending on the kind of content / the intensity of
offenses we might also report the incident and the user to the Facebook administration.
