the product you were looking

Social Media


Definition: Forms of electronic communication in
which users create online communities to share
information, ideas, personal messages, and other
content.
Ex. FaceBook, Twitter.
Mobile Marketing


Definition: A set of practices that enables
organizations to communicate and engage with their
audience in an interactive and relevant manner
through any mobile device or network.
Ex. Zinga
Geo-targeting


Definition: The practice of customizing an
advertisement for a product or service to a specific
market based on the geographic location of
potential buyers.
Ex. Home Depot in Florida running an ad for
hurricane season.
Co-marketing

Definition: A partnership between two or more
companies where both companies jointly market
each other’s products.
Ex. Apple and Nike jointly developing a new
service for joggers: NIKE+

Gray Marketing
Definition: Market comprising of consumers over the
age of 60.


