batteries continuously charged
and in top condition.
Introducing the Primus
Solar Mat Kits. These Solar Mat
Kits are available in either
120W and a massive 200W
configurations and weighing
just 4kg and 6kg!
The Primus Solar Mats Kits
are extremely easy to setup,
simply by connecting DC clamps
to the battery being charged,
connect the extension leads
using the colour coded 50A
Anderson type plugs with the
inline 15A Smart Charge
Controller in between. Unfold
the Solar Mat Kit and then lay
it on the ground or over your
4WD’s bonnet in full view of
the sun. That’s it, let the sun
do the work!
Storing the Solar Mat Kit
within your 4WD couldn’t be
simpler. Once folded, the Solar
Mat Kit can be stored under your
seat or in the seat back pocket.
Both 120W and 200W Primus
Solar Mat Kits utilise the
SunpowerTM C60 cells which
produce up to 30% more power
than conventional type cells
currently available. The
efficiency of these cells is
unmatched with having the
‘Busbar’ grid lines moved to
the back of the cell giving an
uninterrupted all black surface
to absorb more sunlight than
conventional cells. The
SunpowerTM C60 cells are also
built on a solid copper backing
making the cell virtually
impervious to corrosion and
cracking.
Couple the SunpowerTM C60
cells with an advanced
technology 15A Digital Smart
Charge Controller you get a
power source solution that will
give you years of trouble free
performance.
The 15A Digital Smart Charge
Controller is capable of
charging up to four different
types of 12V batteries. Scroll
through the push button menu
and select the type of battery
you are charging, whether it is
GEL, AGM, Calcium or WET. The
controller is also smart enough
to remember that setting for
next time. All the information

large 45mm easy to read LCD,
informing you in real time the
battery voltage, charging current and charging capacity in amp hour.
