Description
Illicit Recreational Drug derived from the flowering tops of the Hemp Plant (Cannabis
sativa or Cannabis indica).
The major psychoactive component of the Hemp plant that is sought and maximized in
Marijuana is the Cannabinoid Tetraterpene - Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
Toxic Effects of Marijuana
Nervous System
Most of the Nervous System toxic effects of Marijuana are caused by THC.
High doses of Marijuana can cause Anxiety.
