In-Class Project on Propaganda Techniques/Advertising: Invent a new product that has never been sold before. You will design the product, give it some special features, and be able to describe how these features make your product special and different. Complete this step in your classwork spiral. Create a large advertisement for your product on the large paper provided. Think of it as a billboard. Your advertisement MUST have: -a picture of the product -special features labeled and explained -persuasive language/advertising to sell it, using at least 2 of our 7 propaganda techniques effectively and LABELED on the back of the advertisement -a clear target AUDIENCE labeled on back or integrated into your advertisement You may work with ONE partner of your choice. Be aware, however, that we are working in class and you will share your project on Friday. Choose someone you will work well with and not waste time. I will provide you with an index card telling you what category your invention will be. If you don’t like your category, you may draw ONE additional time. Your final project should look like a project; it should be complete, neat, colorful, and detailed, and free from spelling errors. Neat does not mean that the entire page is covered with color and design. White space makes your ad more visually appealing and focuses attention on your product.
