ISSUE
You have been approached by the Editor for “Go Green” magazine to write a feature
article addressing how the fashion industry can reduce their carbon footprint to ensure
what we are wearing today is sustainable for future generations.
TASK
Construct a feature magazine article (analytical exposition) responding to this thesis
statement “It is possible to be fashionable and sustainable”. Reflect on impact to
individuals, families and communities.
Develop an appropriate introduction that identifies and introduces the need for
“sustainable fashion”.
The body of the article should include details such as the:
 Environmental and health dangers associated with current practices
 The green revolution. Sustainable practices in relation to material, manufacturing
and marketing in fashion.
 World renowned designers leading the sustainable fashion movement.
 Designs (include an example (illustration/picture) of their signature style; this is to
be embedded and referred to within your article).
Finally include a conclusion, highlighting the need for society to embrace the green
revolution.
Please limit your report to 1000 words.
