Application form
of an open international grant competition
for supporting the invited leading scientists and experts for a short term
in the framework of Visiting Professor Program

submits the present joint application for participation in TSU grant competition for supporting
the invited leading scientists and experts for a short term in the framework of Visiting
Professor Program financed by Tomsk State University Academic D.I. Mendeleev Fund

3. The Visiting professor agrees to the following:
•
he/she did not announce about his/her participation in other forms of activity in
the framework of this TSU grant competition of Visiting Professor Program;
•
declared research project is not a replication of a research conducted by the
researcher in the previous period due to the budgets of various levels and other sources.
4. In case the present application is approved the visiting professor shall take the following
responsibilities specified depending on a project implementation term and amount of
funding, as follows:
•
within the prescribed period conclude an agreement on the grant allocation;
•
form a research group for conducting the research. This group shall include at
least 1 candidate of sciences (Ph.D.), 1 Ph.D. student and 2 students studying at TSU;
•
publish at least 1 article per year in the in the journals of an appropriate research
field indexed in the Web of Science database;
•
as a guest speaker participate in international scientific events, conducted at TSU;
•
take responsibilities for achieving the declared project goals in accordance with an
individual work plan (Appendix 3);
•
in compliance with the Federal law from June 27th, 2007 №152-ФЗ “On the
personal information” the visiting professor consents to the processing of the personal
data submitted as part of the present application by the competition organizers and an
invited third party. This personal information will be used for conducting this
competition, for concluding an agreement on the grant allocation, and will be added into
TSU database.
5. In case the present application is approved TSU shall take the following responsibilities:
•
conclude labor agreements with a visiting professor in compliance with the Russian
legislation;
•
provide project financing in accordance with an approved financial plan for its
implementation, and carry out obligations to pay taxes to the budgets of all levels and
compulsory payments to the state extra-budgetary funds.
• provide a workplace, access to the available experimental basis, and to the
informational resources for conducting the research and (or) another works.
