Hitler considered the Jewish people not as a religious group but as a nation or race, like Americans
or Canadians or Germans. He said the Jews controlled the banks and the media and were responsible
for many of Germany’s problems. Hating an entire race of people is called racism. Racism
specifically against Jews is called Anti-Semitism.
