1. Anti-War Painting and Poetry
a. Create an artwork and poem in the style of Sig Bang
Schmidt and Steve Dalachinsky. (Do an internet search on the antiwar art and poetry of Sig Bang Schmidt and Steve Dalachinsky to see
their work.) Your artwork and poetry MUST be related to WWI.
b. Compose a minimum one page description and analysis of
your art and poetry. Explain why you chose certain images, colors,
formatting, symbolism, imagery, etc. This must be in MLA format!

represent. Therefore, your poster should be appropriate for the

Obviously, American posters probably did not use black, red, and
gold (the colors of the German flag) as color combinations.
