Food Shortages Name Olivia McConney Define Undernutrition. Undernutrition is when people do not have enough food per day. They get less then 1500 calories a day. Define Malnutrition Malnutrition is when people do not get enough of the right foods everyday. They do not get minerals, vitamens and proteins in their diets every day.
