IGCSE Drama
Introduction
IGCSE Drama at DIS is an unforgettable two year course full of creative and theoretical
elements. Governed by Cambridge International Examinations, students use learnt skills to
not only pursue professional work within the Performing Arts industry but to execute
presentations, business proposals and public addressing.

Coursework The coursework is based on creating and performing both self-devised and
published scripted work. Recorded work is sent to Cambridge International Examinations for
marking. Written exam The 2 ½ written exam consists of 10-14 questions based on
performed work and a researched play.
Assessments are frequent throughout the school year to prepare students for the final
examination in June of the second year.
