THE WIZ OF THE WEST Audition
An audition will be held for Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of THE WIZ OF THE WEST
(day, date, and location) from (start time) to (end time). Those auditioning should arrive at (start time) and plan
to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately
following the auditions.
Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students, grades (list grades eligible:
entering 1st grade through 12th grade), are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Most
students will rehearse four hours each day, Monday through Friday. The performances are scheduled for
(date, time and location).

Theatre and over 50 local students in an original musical production of THE WIZ OF THE WEST.

Among the roles to be cast are Dotty; Mooch; Scared Crow; Lionel; Tinhorn; Hawknose Halley; Dr. Ozzy; Top
Dog; Mad Dog; Bad Dog; Coyotes; Munch Kin; Buzzards; and Tarantulas. Students, ages (list ages eligible: i.e.
entering 1st grade through 12th grade), are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant
Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage
responsibilities.
Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup.
The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from (start time) to (end time) each day.
