Assignments
1. Monday, September 17th:
Write each word in alphabetical order. Next to each word write
whether it is a noun, verb, adjective or adverb. (dictionary.com is a
great resource).
2. Tuesday, September 18th:
Read from “Frindle” (Reading Streets selection):
a) Make a list and write all the “power verbs”
b) Make a list and write all of the nouns
c) Make a list of any adjectives or adverbs
3. Wednesday, September 19th :
Study for your test. Write 1 interrogative sentence, 1 imperative, and
1 exclamatory sentence using 4 different spelling words. Each
sentence should be at least 8-10 words – please no sentences that begin
with “I”. Please use “power verbs”.
* You may choose to email your assignments directly to your teacher.
 Spelling test will be on Thursday, September 20, 2012. Please study the list of words and be
prepared on Friday
 All assignments need to typed or written very neatly.

All assignments need to be labeled and organized.
