SAMI Brush for sweeping streets (hereinafter 'the brush') may be used either as attached
to the standard three-point rear linkage system, or as attached to front loader linkage.
The support wheels (two pcs.) can be mounted either in front of the brush, or behind it,
depending on requirement.
The support legs (two pcs.) are to be mounted depending on position of the support
wheels, i.e. on the other side of the brush.
Minimum requirement in oil to start travel of the brush: 65 litre/min
Additional Equipment:
- Support wheels 15/6.00
Supplies:
SAMI brushes are supplied in complete sets as ready-to-use items, or in complete sets specially
packed for delivery. Hydraulic cylinders are supplied without oil.
Mounting the Brush:
1. Attach the brush to the standard three-point rear linkage system of the tractor. Adjust the
front frame into the vertical position making use the longitudinal long tie-rod. Connect
the hydraulic hoses to the tractor hydraulic system. Check the working of the hydraulic
system prior to the start of works. If the brush rotates in the same direction as the wheels
rotate, change the ends of the hoses connected to the hydraulic engine. If the hydraulic
system does not work, check, first of all, compatibility / fixation of the ends of the gear
connections, and further, working the hydraulic system of the tractor.
2. Fasten the brush to the linkage system of the front loader, and connect the hydraulic
hoses.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
NB! Be careful while attaching the brush to the tractor.
NB! Make sure nobody is standing near the tractor to avoid an accident.
NB! When driving, be careful at making turns so that the brush would not hit external
obstacles.
NB! Lower the brush to the ground before leaving the tractor.
NB! Check the connections of the hydraulic hoses and make sure oil does not leak.
NB! Before starting works, make sure the support legs are raised.
Purpose:
The brush is intended for sweeping streets/ roads with hard road surface.
The brush position can be adjusted by the long tie-rod or by lateral tie-rods of the tractor. The
height of bristle above the working surface can be adjusted by changing the height of the support
wheels. For this purpose, the appropriate handle is to be turned and the suitable height is to be
fixed by the locking nut.
The brush turning is adjusted by means of the hydraulic cylinder. The extreme limits of the
hydraulic cylinder give maximum and minimum angle of turning.
Maintenance:
Daily check shall be done in regard of the following: fastening the support legs, air pressure in
tyres, hydraulic connections, free rotation of the bristle.
Monthly check includes the chain tension, condition of the bearings and journal, and also,
additional greasing the greasing points.
Storing:
Before placing the SAMI brush for long-term storing, cover the piston rod of its hydraulic
cylinder with preservative agent to protect it against corrosion.
