 Know the names, capitals, and locations of all of the 50 U.S. states
 Know the capitals of England, France, Italy, South Korea, Brazil, Peru,
Chile, Australia, North Korea, Japan, China, Iraq, Haiti, Iran, Cuba, Spain,
Portugal, Germany, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, The Philippines, and be
able to identify the countries on a map.
 Know the number, names, locations of the world’s continents and oceans, and
the largest and smallest of each
 Know which three countries make up the continent of North America and the
capitals of each
 Know the name and location of the Catholic church’s capital (Vatican City, which
is located within the city of Rome in the country of Italy, in Europe)
 Know the name of the longest river, largest lake, and highest mountain in the
United States. Know in what state the highest U.S. mountain peak is located
