Spelling Homework Menu
Directions: Choose four activities to complete this week using your spelling words for the week. You must turn
in your completed work from your spelling menu on Friday.
1. ABC Order

Write all of your spelling
words in alphabetical
(ABC) order.
Write your words. Then
use a colored pencil to
divide the words into
syllables.

Draw a picture and hide
your spelling words in

Note: The options in the chart above are just suggestions of different options for your child to practice
his or her spelling words; students are not just limited to these choices. If there are other options your
child would like to complete that are not listed above, such as a more tactile approach (ex: “writing” the
words in shaving cream, or with paint ), taking a practice test, or another activity, you can simply write
what they did/send it in if it’s something tangible, and sign off on it below.
