The Allahabad pillar inscription is a prashati in praise of Samudragupta.
It was composed in Sanskrit by Samudragupata’s court poet, Harishena.

conflicts?
Conflicts occur when people do not get along with each other, or when some feel
they are being discriminated.
People may use violent means to settle their differences.
This leads to fear and tension among others living in an area.
So we need the government to find solutions to many disputes or conflicts.
How are mountains useful to man? (any three)
The mountains are a storehouse of water. Water from mountains is used for
irrigation and generation of hydro-electricity.
The river valleys and terraces are ideal for cultivation.
Mountains have a rich variety of flora and fauna. The forests provide fuel, fodder,
shelter, gum, raisins etc.
Several sports like paragliding, hand gliding, river rafting and skiing are popular in
the mountains.

What were the means adopted by Ashoka to spread the message of dhamma?
Ashoka appointed officials, known as dhamma mahamatta who went from place to
place teaching people about dhamma.
Ashoka got his messages inscribed on rocks and pillars.

as Syria, Egypt, Greece and Sri Lanka.
