Nostradamus 9-83 = 20 Taurus
Ancient version of a Theatre
During these past few years many people around the world used this Quatrain to state that
Nostradamus has predicted the end of the world on 11 or 21 May 2011. The first date has passed
and now many stated that Nostradamus was wrong. There is a lack of understanding, worse than
that - there is an utter lack of the willingness to investigate and verify. People just like to read and
run with any looming disaster statement.
For 2011, 20 Taurus will fall on 5 to 6 June 2011. It will be 5th of June 2012 to 2014.
In this same I am getting upset because such action results in disbelieve and failure to
understand the real warnings. Nothing is further from the truth! Here is the original French
version:
Sol vingt de Taurus si fort de terre trembler,
Le grand theatre remply ruinera:
L'air, ciel & terre obscurcir & troubler,
Lors l'infidelle Dieu & saincts voguera.
Which I would translate into:
Sun 20th of Taurus so strong ground tremble
The Grand theatre filled ruined:
The air, sky and land obscured and troubled/confused
Then Non-Christian God and Saints will invoke
This Quatrain seems to be based on the earlier work 'Midabbilis Liber by Tiburtine Sibyl (1522)'
and the translation given to this verse, based on the earlier transcript is:
Sun in twenty degrees of Taurus, the earth shall quake so strongly:
the great crowded theatre it shall ruin.
Air, sky and land shall darken and be troubled:
then [even] the faithless shall call upon God and the saints.

Now let us dissect this quatrain first by using our Four Line system and see if that will fit here.
TIME: When the sun is for the 20th day in Taurus = OK
CONFIRMATION: The big theatre will be filled (probably with people) = OK
INCIDENT: The air, sky and land obscured and troubled = OK
ADDITIONAL INFO: Then non-Christian God and Saints will invoke = OK.
Line
#1: On
the
20th
day since
the
sun rise
in
the
constellation
of
Taurus...
First it actually gives us a very specific day - the 20th day of Taurus. In astrological terms that
means exactly just that: 20 days after the sun rose for the first time in the constellation of Taurus..
No doubt about the day and period.
So everyone jumped on our modern Zodiac birthdates and see "Oh, Taurus is 20 April to 20 May.
Good, let us add 20 days - now we have 11 May 2011 and many start confirming with numerical
games. It was and is wrong. Nostradamus was a very meticulous man, so He would not just take
the generally assumed . . . The Zodiac is divided into 12 periods of 30 degrees each to give us the
full year orbit of the Earth around the sun.
The current dates of the Zodiac originates from the ancient Babylonians and goes back to 600BC
- 2,600 years ago! At that time the astronomers looked at the sky, divided it into12 equal zodiac
signs. Remember at that time they still believed the Earth was the centre of the Galaxy so
everything rotated around us.
Now about 2,600 years has passed and there is 2,600 years of "Precession of the Equinoxes" that
came into play. Each year the sun is coming up about 50 arc seconds earlier than the previous. In
truth, it takes about 25,772 years for the sun to rise at the same point in relation to the cosmos.
Each 71.6 years, the sun moves 1 degree backwards. Since each Zodiac is allocated 30 degrees,
in practice it means that in 2,147 year the sun would have moved exactly one zodiac sign
backwards. Thus the real astrology sign is now a bit more than one Zodiac sign faster than the
actual celestial alignments.
When Nostradamus says 20 Taurus he actually means on the 20th day the sun rises - physically in Taurus. Can we calculate that? YES. First we have to get the ZERO Point. That is what we call
today the VERNAL EQUINOX. That is simply the exact moment the sun crosses the equator from
the Southern hemisphere to the Northern Hemisphere. Since we are now working on a year
calendar of 365.25 days, this is very near to 20 March each year.
ZERO POINT TIME for 2011 was 20 March 2011 at 23h21 UTC (GMT).
Now we have the second issue to solve. The Zodiac signs are not equal in period, so the Ancients
used them on approximation. According to the real astrology we would have the physical sunrise
in Taurus from about 4,500 BC to 2,000BC (= 2,500 years). From 2,000BC to 100BC (1,900 years)
the sun would rise in Aries and from 100BC to 2,700AD (2,600 years) it would rise in Pisces.
To be correct then - 21 March -100 BC would be Pisces, 21 April Aries and 20 March Taurus. Thus
the conventional thoughts of 20 Taurus as 11 May is 'correct'. However, we are now roughly 80%
through Pisces, so our current ZERO POINT TIME is about 25th day of Pisces. For 2011 Taurus
would then be from about 29 April to 28 May. Based on this, with 30 day per Zodiac - 20 Taurus
would be around 19 May 2011.
[EDITED 20 May: The last difficulty is that in the sky Taurus is a longer Zodiac than the others about 29 Days 8 Hours. Did Nostradamus use the 30 day divisions or did he observe the actual
sunrise in the actual constellation. Because of the Precession of the Equinoxes, the sun will rise in
Taurus from about 14 May 2011 to 21 June 2011; the 20th day will then be 5 or 6 June 2011. This
is the day, give or take one day - which I would bet my money on; but not the year! ]
Now, the second part of this line is talking of an earth tremble. It is well correct to say it might be
an earthquake. BUT the correct French word, as used in other Quatrains is 'séisme' SEISMIC.
Clearly then this is not likely to be a major earthquake. It will probably be a vibration; something
you will notice, but now due to earth crust movement.
For the sake of this exercise then let us re-write line #1:
On 5 June there will be a vibration on the land; (NOTE: NO YEAR!)
LINE
#2:
The
Grand
theatre
filled
ruined:
Our confirmation line is that there should be a big or smart theatre, filled probably with people, that
will collapse; fall to ruins. Not much to decipher here. A theatre most likely means something like
the old Amphitheatre - so in our days it will look like a typical sports stadium. Secondary it could be
a grand hall or theatre used for art like acting or dancing.
My believe in RV applications indicate this might be somewhere in France, Italy or even England.
Daring my head to be chopped off; I will risk pointing a finger at: (IF IT HAPPENS THIS YEAR !!!)
Millennium Stadium, Cannes Film Theatre, Roland Garros - or similar kind of Theatre.
Now, remember these first two lines are only the Time and Confirmation for the time. Very important
also that they could be the same incident or they might not be directly related at all.
It could be Theatre as we understand it today,
personally I do expect something like a sports stadium or large political arena;
Most likely terrorist attack
What and where could it be?
Line #3: The air, sky and land obscured and troubled/confused;
What strikes me here is that Nostradamus differentiates between SKY and AIR.
AIR is that which we breathe, oxygen, nitrogen or the same thing you can compress into a tank. So
it is filling all the open space around us - the atmosphere. SKY is that which you see when you look
up (not in your room!) - there where the big aircraft are flying, where we have satellites and where
we see the sun, moon and stars. TERRE is the earth, land - the solid part of our planet.
Now all of this will be OBSCURED. Surely no need to translate that? AND it will be
TROUBLED/confused. Now this is some real serious stuff.
This indicates a very major disaster; but not destruction of the earth!
Line #4 Then Non-Christian God and Saints will invoke;
is our additional information and at best it confirms the aspect of Line #3 being a major event.
The use of the word ' l'infidelle' annotates that the Christians would not be concerned; only those
that does not believe in God will be worried.
CONCLUSION:
Personally I have two possible scenarios:
Scenario 1: On the 20th day of the sun in Taurus there will be a tremor on land. During the same
day a theatre filled with people will be blown up by means of an explosion device - probably terrorist
attack. Large clouds of smoke, dust and debris will be flying through the air and scatter over the
land. People will die while calling the name of God; if Muslim extremist we will most likely hear them
invoking the name of God and Holy men by shouting "Haidar Allahu Akbar La ilaha ila lah
Muhammad Rasulalah"
I hope this will be the prophesy; at least all pointers does indicate a typical terror attack, bomb in
theatre, maximum people effect, large exposure, collapsed building and invoking the name of God
and his prophet; dust, confusion, noise etc. In my mind I see something like 911 in USA.
Considering the current status of France, NATO Middle East upheavals, Bin Laden killing - this is
very likely.
Scenario 2: On the 20th day of sunrise in Taurus there will be a warning in the form of tremor on
land; (might be unknown origin as we had recently in USA). In the same time, probably not related
- there will be a theatre ruined - these are your warning for then will come; A major cosmic event in
the sky that will cause space, atmosphere and Earth to be obscured and troubled. Unbelievers in
God will invoke his name and those of his holy men - in vain.
What does worry me about this scenario is another quatrain about celestial alignment of planets
which I will explain later.
