BACTERIAL STD
TREATMENT: Most bacterial STDs can be
cured by ANTIBIOTICS.
VIRAL STD
PREVENTION:
abstinence and/or
effective condom use
TREATMENT: NO CURE!!! But some viral
infections can “treated” with antiviral
medication to help prevent outbreak and
transmission.
