Definition: Infections that are transmitted
through sexual contact. Some are
caused by bacteria, others viruses, some
by fungi, and some by parasites.

An unusual discharge or strong odor from
the vagina
Pain in the lower abdomen
Burning or itching
Tenderness/irritation
Sores, lesions, bumps, or rashes on the skin
and genitalia
Swelling/Fever
Fatigue, vomiting, and stomach/joint pain
Pain during urination

This means that there are NO signs and
symptoms, however, you can still have a
sexually transmitted infection.
