Patients or their parent, in the case of a child, are asked to complete a follow-up questionnaire the month after the original asthma attack. Thereafter, the patients are reviewed on a 6-monthly basis. Overview of Database 2 Megabytes of information relating to the Aberdeen Asthma Support database is held on an Access Database within the Chest Clinic at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The database holds respiratory and treatment information for patients corresponding to 6-monthly reviews following a severe asthma attack necessitating A&E attendance or GDOC support.
