Dynasty. His name was Shi Huangdi. He was very unhappy about all the arguing and
complaining that Confucian scholars and other writers were doing. From the painting,

20) Emperor Shi Huangdi was able to unify all of China, and he was easily the most
powerful ruler China ever had. One can get a sense of his great power from his amazing
tomb in Shaanxi Province. Here are just a few of the 8,000 life-size soldier statues
