 As the only barrister and solicitor in the region for ALS, I serviced the
entire Pilbara Magistrates’ Court circuit according to the following
schedule:
o Three weeks out of four to Karratha and Roebourne for two days;
o One week out of four to Newman for two days;
o Two to three days in South Hedland every week
o Normally one of Marble Bar, Yandeyarra or Nullagine on a
Thursday.
 I appeared for all ALS matters during the District Court’s Pilbara circuit
according to the following schedule:
o One week every two months in South Hedland;
o One week every two months in Karratha.
 In both Magistrates’ and District Court matters, I did all hearings, jury
trials and other appearances. I worked almost exclusively in the domain
of criminal law.
