Line Pair Conjecture
If two angles form a linear pair, then the measures of the angles add up to 180°
Vertical Angles Conjecture
If two angles are vertical angles, then they are congruent. (Opposite angles)
Corresponding Angles Conjecture
If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then corresponding angles are congruent. (F-theorem)
Alternate Interior Angles Conjecture
If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then alternate interior angles are congruent. (Z-theorem)
Triangle Sum
The sum of the measures of the angles in every triangle is 180°.
Isosceles Triangle Conjecture
If a triangle is isosceles, then its base angles are congruent. If a triangle is isosceles, then two of its sides are congruent.
SSS Congruence Conjecture
If there sides of one triangle are congruent to the three sides of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
SAS Congruence Conjecture
If two sides and the included angle of one triangle are congruent to two sides and the included angle of another triangle,
then the triangles are congruent.
ASA Congruence Conjecture
If two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to two angles and the included side of another triangle,
then the triangles are congruent.
SAA Congruence Conjecture
If two angles and a non-included side of one triangle are congruent to the corresponding angles and side of another triangle,
then the triangles are congruent.
ASA Congruence Conjecture
If two angles and the included side of one triangle are congruent to two angles and the included side of another triangle,
then the triangles are congruent.
Quadrilateral Sum Conjecture
The sum of the measures of the four angles of any quadrilateral is 360°.
Kite Angles Conjecture
The nonvertex angles of a kite are congruent.
Kite Diagonals Conjecture
The diagonals of a kite are congruent.
Chord Central Angles Conjecture
If two chords in a circle are congruent, then they determine two central angles that are congruent.
Chord Arcs Conjecture
If two chords in a circle are congruent, then their intercepted arcs are congruent.
Perpendicular to a Chord Conjecture
The perpendicular from the centre of a circle to a chord is the bisector of the chord.
Chord Distance to Centre Conjecture
Two congruent chords in a circle are equidistant from the centre of the circle.
Perpendicular Bisector of a Chord Conjecture
The perpendicular bisector of a chord passes through the centre of the circle.
Inscribed Angle Conjecture
The measure of an inscribed angle inscribed in a circle is one-half the measure of the central angle.
Inscribed Angles Intercepting Arcs Conjecture
Inscribed angles that intercept the same arc are congruent.
Angles Inscribed in a Semicircle Conjecture
Angles inscribed in a semicircle are right angles.
Cyclic Quadrilateral Conjecture
The opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are supplementary.
