Brochure More information from http://www.researchandmarkets.com/reports/1835860/ Corporate Greenhouse Gas Management Description: This report offers a series of practical recommendations to companies seeking to respond effectively to climate change-related business drivers while also offering them the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances. Climate change has fundamental implications for all areas of business practice, including operations, supply chain management, product development, market access, and customer relationships. To respond effectively, companies need to recognise climate change as a strategic issue that is fundamentally about long-term value creation. This report shares the experiences and reflections of six companies – BASF, Deutsche Post DHL, Maersk, National Grid, Standard Chartered and Vodafone – that have thought particularly deeply about how climate change may affect their businesses and have developed strategies that enable them to respond effectively over the short, medium and long-term. Based on this experience, it offers a series of practical recommendations to companies seeking to respond effectively to climate change-related business drivers while also offering them the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances. The author, Dr Rory Sullivan, is Strategic Adviser, Ethix SRI Advisers, and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Leeds. He is an internationally recognised expert on climate finance and has advised governments and international institutions on the design and implementation of policy instruments directed at financing the transition to a low-carbon economy.
