the Allies of World War II of Nazi Germany's
unconditional surrender of its armed forces. It
thus marked the end of World War II in Europe.

Manhattan Project was a research and
development project that produced the first
nuclear weapons during WWII.
 Explain
and detail the experience of
citizens in the United States during WWII.
 Native
American language served as
code during World War II for the Allies.

“Island Hopping” is the phrase given to the strategy
employed by the United States to gain military bases
and secure the many small islands in the Pacific.
 Explore
the horrifying experience of those who
were held in concentration camps during World
War II on the orders of Hitler and his Final
Solution.

Analyze the expansion of technology during WWII
including –
• Weaponry, transportation, communications,
medicine, and rocketry.


Study and Examine
the interactions
between Churchill,
Stalin, and Roosevelt
during WWII.
Tehran, Yalta, or
Potsdam Conferences.
 Study
the internment of Japanese
Americans in post-Pearl Harbor WWII.
 You
will be able to choose your own
groupings for this project.
 Groups
will range from 2-5 people.
• Larger groups will be expected to produce a
higher quality and more detailed product.
 This
project will culminate in a 5-10
minute presentation of your creation.
 Now
that you have moved into your
groups we will decide topics.
 On
a sheet of paper please rank your top
three picks in order.
