Composed of nine atolls. All ships visiting from overseas call on the capital, and port is also the base of operations for the inter – island passenger and cargo service operated by Tuvalu government Port facilities comprise a single L shaped pier, with the main cargo berth having a length of about 80 meters and depth alongside of 9 meters.
