Accounting for almost 41 per cent of the national total jobs, the business services industries in Ontario added $174 billion to the national GDP in 2011. Over one million people, or 43 per cent of Canada’s labour force, are employed in the business services sector in Ontario, in particular, business, finance and administration occupations2. Ontario boasts a sizeable proportion of graduates with over 1.2 million individuals with a post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in business, management or public administration, architecture, engineering, and related technologies. Combined, this creates a total workforce of 30,500, which represents seven per cent of the total workforce in Brampton.
