The Province of Saskatchewan Saskatchewan- Population • The province of Saskatchewan has a population of 1 052 937 as of March 21st 2011. • The capital city of Saskatchewan is Regina. There are approximately 202 256 people living in Regina as of March 21st, 2011. Saskatchewan- Landform Region • The southern part of Saskatchewan is part of the Interior Plains Region • The air on the prairies is dry and the skies are usually clear • The winter is long, windy and cold but has lots of sunshine Saskatchewan- Landform Region • The plains are made up of flat grasslands and gently rolling hills.
