Rocky Mountains The Rocky Mountains are run through many parts of the U.S. and Canada The states the Rocky Mountains are in include Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, and Alaska. In Canada the Rockies go through Alberta and British Columbia. The Rocky Mountains are the biggest mountain range in North America.
