1. Introduction
This contribution proposes the contribution proposes the text to subclause 1.3 Reference Models.
2. Reference Model Proposal
[Add Subclause 1.3 as shown below:]
10
1.4.1 Management reference model
11
[Replace Subclause 1.4.1 with the following:]
12
Figure 2 shows a management reference model of fixed BWA networks. It consists
13
of a network management system (NMS), managed nodes, and AAA Server
14
service flow database. Managed nodes, such as Base station (BS), MS, and
15
subscriber station (SS) managed nodes, collect and store the managed objects in
16
the format of WiressMan Interface MIB (e.g. wmanIfMib) and Device MIB (e.g.
17
wmanDevMib) that are made available to NMSs via management protocols, such
18
as Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). Service flow database AAA
19
Server contains the service flow and the associated QoS information that have to
20
be populated to BS and SS when a SS or MS enters into a BS network.
21
The management information between SS/MS and BS will be carried over the
22
secondary management connection for managed SS or MS. If the secondary
23
management
24
management protocol messages, may go through another interface in the
25
customer premise or on a transport connection over the air interface.
