CCNA v3.1 to CCNA Discovery or CCNA Exploration
Student Migration Guidelines
 Flexible guidelines to help transition students over to the new and
improved curricula
 No direct mapping exists between CCNA v3.1 and CCNA Discovery
or CCNA Exploration
 Supplemental review recommendations are provided to help fill any
knowledge gaps and cover topics meeting the following criteria:
Essential for students to understand to succeed in the new courses
Partially covered or not covered at all in CCNA v3.1
Not reviewed again in the CCNA Discovery or CCNA Exploration courses
 The recommendations attempt to limit the amount of supplemental
materials that students will need to study for a successful migration
