Planning a speech
In pairs, share:
• what you did
• the kind of language you used
• how you decided what to say
• how well it went
Action Learning Set – instructions
Decide the length of time each person will have. Allocate a time keeper.
• Individually, note on a sticky note one issue you would like to discuss
about speaking, listening and communicating (in work / life).
• As a ‘round robin’, each person say what issue they will bring to the
action learning set.
• Conduct discussion. Listen and give constructive feedback to each
person during the discussion. Be strict about time keeping.
• As a ‘round robin’ each person say what they have gained from the
discussion.
