“Alcohol Brief Counseling in the United States Air Force”
Presentation Abstract
This seminar will address the use of a brief counseling intervention for alcohol
misuse in the United States Air Force. Specifically, the focus of the talk will be
on: (1) the program evaluation of a brief counseling program for alcohol;
(2) the modifications made to the program to promote evidence-based practices
and sustainable training; (3) the plan for implementation and evaluation; and
(4) challenges associated with implementation science in the military context.
