Normalcy: It means a return to the
economical and political isolation that
characterizes the United States before it
entered World War I in 1917.
Tea pot dome scandal: Is a reference to
an oil field on public land in the U.S state
of Wyoming, the name comes because of
a massive boulder that looks like a teapot
overlooking the field.

president to do that.
 Warren Harding was elected president
on 1921 of the United States
He was ranked one of the worst
presidents of all time.
His administration is chiefly remembered
for the teapot dome scandal it was a
messy oil reserves.
 After world war I, problems surfaced relating to arms
control, war, debts, and the reconstruction of war-ton
countries.
 On domestic issues, Harding favored a limited role for
government in business affairs and in social reform. He
still set up the bureau of the budget to help run the
government more efficiently.
 The biggest example of corruption was the teapot
dome scandal.
 When Harding died, Americans sincerely mourned their
good-natured president. The next year, Calvin Coolidge
was elected president.
The government must guard
against scandal and
corruption to gain the public’s
trust.

