Abraham
Lincoln
By Jayden Mack
Abraham Lincoln
was born in 1809 in
Kentucky.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN WAS ELECTED
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES IN
1860.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN WAS ALWAYS
AGAINST SLAVERY BECAUSE IT WASN`T
FAIR THAT THE WHITES GOT TO BE
FREE BUT THE BLACKS DIDN`T.
THE SOUTHERN STATES
WANTED TO HAVE SLAVERY
AND THEY DIDN’T LIKE LINCOLN
SO THEY BROKE APART FROM
THE UNION AND MADE THE
CONFEDERATE STATES.
LINCOLN AND THE UNION DIDN’T
WANT SLAVERY.
AFTER THEY BROKE APART THE
CIVIL WAR STARTED.
THE WAR ENDED IN APRIL 1865
WHEN THE SOUTHERN STATES
SURRENDERED. SLAVERY ENDED
AFTER THE CIVIL WAR.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN
WAS KILLED ON
APRIL 14, 1865.
JOHN WILKES
BOOTH KILLED HIM
BECAUSE HE WAS
MAD THAT THE
NORTH WON THE
CIVIL WAR.
THEY MADE A STATUE OF HIM IN 1984 FOR
HIS BRAVERY AND HONOR AND HONESTY
DURING THE CIVIL WAR.

THIS IS THE
LINCOLN MEMORIAL
IN WASHINGTON DC.

ABE WAS A GREAT
MAN AND WE
CELEBRATE HIM
EVERY YEAR ON
PRESIDENT’S DAY.
“IT`S BETTER TO REMAIN
SILENT AND BE THOUGHT A
FOOL THAN TO OPEN ONE`S
MOUTH AND REMOVE ALL
DOUBT.”
THIS WAS ONE OF LINCOLN`S
FAMOUS QUOTES.
I THINK ABRAHAM LINCOLN WAS ONE
OF OUR GREATEST PRESIDENT`S.
 IF YOU EVER GO TO WASHINGTON DC
YOU SHOULD GO SEE THE LINCOLN
MEMORIAL.
