Heinrich Himmler
born in Munich,
Bavaria, on Oct. 7,
1900.
 Himmler joined the
army in 1917 as an
officer cadet.
 Later he studied
agriculture and
economics.







In January 1929 Himmler found his ‘’calling’’ with his appointment a

In 1934 won control of the Gestapo (secret police).

In 1944 Himmler became director of home-front operations and chief

trial with the other German leaders as a major war criminal, but
committed suicide shortly after his arrest.

extremes of cold and decompression.
The killing of the Jews represented for
Himmler the fulfillment of a mission.
The “Final Solution” was the means to
achieve the racial supremacy of the “Aryan”
and purify the world contamination by
subhumans.

Union in 1941, Himmler
controlled all the organs of
police and intelligence
power, and through the SS
he dominated the
concentration and
extermination camps in
Poland.
