Climate Change Law (LAW 5397)
2015 take-home exam pick-up and turn-in times
The Associate Dean’s office has issued new rules regarding when take-home exams can be
picked up and turned in at the library. Exams can only be picked up or turned in at the library
during certain hours:
Monday – Thursday: after 9 a.m. and before 6 p.m.
Friday, Saturday:
after 9 a.m. and before 3 p.m.
Sunday:
after 1 pm and before 6 p.m.
The library will not allow you to pick up or turn in an exam outside those time windows. These
rules are for the purpose of avoiding congestion at the library reference desk, which was having
problems with large numbers of students trying to turn in exams right at library closing time.
These new rules require you to plan carefully, if you wish to make sure you have the full
allowed time to work your exam. The following graphic is an aid to help with your planning.

The first time you can pick up your Climate Change Law take-home exam will be 9:00 am
on Thursday, Dec. 3 (opening of final examination period for the Law Center generally).
You are allowed up to 24 hours to turn in your exam, from the time you pick it up.
The last time an exam can be turned in will be 6:00 pm on Thursday, Dec. 10.
The chart below shows the allowed hours in green. If you wish to have the full allowed time to
work on your exam, it is your responsibility to make sure that BOTH your pick-up time and your
planned turn-in time fall within the green area on the chart below.
