More Info on CMIS What data is stored? • Student Info - all data including photo's, addresses, contact info. • Timetable Info - including, rooms in the school, teachers and what subjects they teach • Exams Info - what exams each student is sitting and when. and student results • Assessment Info - report information Why is it needed? • To help the school run smoothly and efficiently. Data is at hand and can be retrieved by the touch of a button How is it stored? • In an SQL database How is it retrieved? • Via Facility CMIS which is the front end of the database
