Rev. Rice will review authentic Catholic teaching about care for God’s Creation.
Benjamin de Foy, Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Saint Louis University
Dr. de Foy will present an overview of climate change science from the basics to current discoveries.
Meg Olson
Director of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development at Catholic Charities St. Louis
Ms. Olson will discuss the Catholic understanding of environmental justice and its relation to poverty.
Daniel R. DiLeo, M.T.S
Project Manager of the Catholic Climate Covenant
Mr. DiLeo will discuss the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Faithful Citizenship
and climate change advocacy on the proposed EPA carbon pollution rule.
Julie Hanlon Rubio, Ph.D.
Professor of Christian Ethics, Department of Theology at Saint Louis University
Dr. Rubio will moderate the panel discussion.
