When and How?
Warm up to stretch. Increase body
temperature to reduce risk of injury.
Warm up until you start to perspire.
 Hold stretch for 15-30 seconds. Allow
the muscle to relax.
 Feel “Stretch Stress” – feeling of stress,
but with no undue pain.

