If a normal tube of toothpaste holds 4.6 ounces and costs $2.49, how much should the giant tube cost? • If we round, we can think: 4 ounces is about $2.50. Since we want to know how much 128 ounces is, think: 4 • 32 = 128, so $2.50 times 32 is $80. (or, $2.50 • 30 = $75) Try this one • The admissions department currently accepts students at a 7 : 3 male/female ratio.
