Basic Design Guidelines for the Web
1. Make the MAIN IDEA of your page a focal
point.
-Bigger, different color, larger size, place a
frame around it
2. Only use 2 different fonts per page.
3. Try to repeat 3 or 4 main colors throughout
your project.
4. Allow for extra space if you don’t want the
viewer to miss an important item.
