What is mobile learning? Mobile learning, or m-learning, is learning that can happen at any location using technology that you can take with you. You could be m-learning at home, on the bus or on an outdoor worksite. In your TAFE course you may be involved in mobile learning activities such as: podcasting vodcasting (video podcasting) moblogging (mobile blogging). Mobile technologies Here are some examples of mobile devices: Mobile phone Laptop with wireless connection Personal digital assistant (PDA) iriver and iPod (MP3 players) Podcasting A podcast is a digital audio recording made available on the internet for you to download to your computer and transfer to your MP3 player/iPod to listen to at your leisure. Many podcasts are like a regular program on the radio – they have daily or weekly episodes.
