• Select slide you wish to insert video on
(or insert a new slide)
• Click Insert, and select Movies and Sounds

• Choose the movie you want from the
submenu and click OK
• Use Custom Animation to determine how the
video is displayed.
Inserting Sounds (Audio)
• Display the slide to which you want to add
sound.
• On Insert menu, point to Movies And
Sounds
• Select Sound from File or Sound from
Gallery
Recording Narration
• Requires sound card and microphone
• Uses a lot of memory (depending on quality
desired)
• Locks you into monologue
• Rarely used except for kiosks and web
pages intended for the visually-impaired.
Creating Action Buttons
• In Slide view, display the slide on which
you want to create the jump.
• On Slide Show menu, point to and choose
one of the Action Buttons from the submenu

• Drag the mouse onto the slide to place the
Action Button
• When you Release the mouse, the Action
settings dialog box appears.

• Choose the jump option you want.
• Turn on play sound box if you want.
• Click OK.

• You can set the action button to run another
program during the presentation.
• Click the Run Program option button.
• Click Browse button.
• Select program and click OK
Creating an Internet Hyperlink
• Select the text (placeholder) you wish to
associate the hyperlink with.
• Choose the hyperlink command from the
Insert menu (or use hyperlink button on the
toolbar).
• Type the address in the Insert hyperlink
dialog box.
• Click OK
