INTERESTED IN GOING TO HAWAII JAN. 2011? The Anthropological Experience in Hawaii ANTH 38100 Winter Intersession 2011 Three week, 3 credit field class involving experiential learning and fieldwork in the islands of Hawaii (Oahu, Big Island). The course takes an anthropological approach in understanding issues such as cultural resource management, environmental preservation, Native Hawaiian culture and history, migration, multiculturalism, religious pluralism, and the impact of tourism.
