Advantages and disadvantages
Arlanda, Swedavia, LFV and the aviation industry are working to
reduce such disadvantages as noise and emissions, but to
increase the advantages that efficient transport services
provide:
•
The hospitality industry – one of Sweden’s largest “export” industries.
•
Sweden’s exports of goods and services are equivalent to half of GDP.
•
In value terms, 10% of Sweden’s exports are sent as air cargo…
…and another 10% by lorry to airports outside Sweden.
•
The knowledge industry, the cultural sphere and political and social
exchanges among countries require aviation.
This is why we need
efficient transport services
Air travel takes us on the
shortest path to the right
places in the shortest time.
It is good for the
environment, for exchanges of
ideas, goods and services...
…which in turn strengthen
our economy and prosperity.
Thank you for your attention.
