Conclusion 1.ABSTRACT: There has been increased interest in the Zigbee standard, in particular for building automation and industrial controls. The Zigbee Alliance has identified six application spaces for Zigbee: consumer electronics, PC and peripherals, residential/light commercial control, industrial control, building automation and personal healthcare. This article deals mainly with industrial control and building automation. Increasingly, companies developing monitoring and control applications in industrial and commercial building environments are looking to wireless technologies like Zigbee to save the cost of wiring and installation and also to allow more flexible deployment of systems. 2.OBJECTIVES: The prime objective is to select the appropriate wireless network to collect the data from sensors placed in the industry ,For the emergence of XBee in building automation and industrial control . 3.BLOCK DIAGRAM : TRANSMITTER STAGE: PANIC BUTTON ULTRASONIC TX DRIVER ULTRASONIC RX ARM PROCESSOR GAS LEAKAGE DETECTION LCD DISPLAY XBEE TX +12 Volts +5 Volts GND 230 V, AC Supply TRANSFORMER RECTIFIER FILTER REGULATOR HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS: ARM 7 / Cortex M3, LCD, Relay Driver, Relays, Resistors, Capacitors, LEDs, Crystal, Diodes, Transformer, Voltage Regulat Push Button. SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: Keil compiler uVision 4, Language: Embedded C or Assembly, WLPRO Programmer RECEIVER STAGE: EMERGENCY OUTPUT BUFFER XBEE RX DRIVER RELAY BUZZER ARM PROCESSOR 4. METHODOLOGY: A block diagram which is shown above is divided into two parts that is transmitter and receiver. The transmitter part is which is in the industry which can be monitor & control parameters. The basic principle used in this device is the property of ultrasonic and waves of getting reflected when medium density charges. The ultrasonic and sound waves having a frequency range from 40 kHz are generated by an Astable Multivibrator, having 50% duty cycle. The waves generated are amplified and transmitted through a transmitting Transducer with the help of a driver stage. . The waves travel ahead and are reflected back when they strike a moving object. The receiving transducer selects the reflected waves and further they are processed in receiver section. The receiver section consists of pre amplifier, buffer, driver and a buzzer, which gives the final output. The buffer is included to provide unit gain amplification to the received waves and passes them to Driver. The output is thus amplified to drive the output stage. The output stage is a buzzer. LED is also included in the output stage for the convenience. 5. ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES: ADVANTAGES: 1. Building system control that enables integrated and centralized management of lighting, heating, cooling and security. 2. Automation control of multiple systems to improve energy conservation, flexibility and security. 3. Flexibility that allows reconfiguration of lighting systems to quickly create adaptable workspaces and extends to allow upgrades of building infrastructure with minimal effort. 4. Safety enhanced through a network where integrated data from multiple access points enables capabilities . DISADVANTAGES: 1. In this project usage of relays leads to consume more power. 2. It increases the cost whereas digital systems reduce the cost of system. 6.APPLICATIONS: 1. This project can be implement in Military applications. 2. Requiring timeliness and critical data passage may include medical alerts and security systems. 3. Repetitive low latency data. 7.CONCLUSION: Wireless communication technologies can often be useful within building automation & industrial control applications. An advantage of using Zigbee radio technology in the implementation of measuring and monitoring systems is represented by flexibility in topology of the sensor network. This offers the possibility to reorganize very rapidly the systems. Also the components of the Zigbee mesh networks can operate over extended periods of time, even years, without changing the original battery. Zigbee is necessary if you need to use repeating or mesh networking functionality in your system. Zigbee technology together with other wireless technologies will profoundly and completely change the aspect of the industrial automation system THANK YOU
